This Privacy Notice explains how Mockingbird Lab processes limited platform data for invited users and client venues that use the music operations platform.

Data We Process

We may process account information, invite acceptance records, device/session information, active zones, playback audit logs, a masked IP address, and an approximate city, region, country, timezone and Cloudflare edge inferred from the network connection. This network estimate is not GPS data and may be inaccurate, particularly when a VPN, mobile network or corporate gateway is used.

Purpose

Data is processed for platform security, technical support, contracted zone monitoring, service reliability, incident investigation, compliance and audit purposes. It is not used to track a person's precise movements.

Protection

Onboarding acceptance records store hashed IP address and user agent values rather than raw values. Playback reports show a masked IP address by default. A full IP address is retained only when dedicated encryption is configured; access is restricted to a superadmin and every reveal is recorded in a separate audit log. Network observations have a 90-day operational retention target, subject to contractual or legal retention duties.
